He was predeceased by: his father Armando Rubio, Sr.; his grandmother Adela Guzman; his great-grandparents, Eva Masias and Frank Masias, Sr.; his uncle Locario Constante; his great-uncles, Frank Masias, Jr., Andy Masias and Freddy Masias; and his great-aunt Bessie Arizmendez.
He is survived by: his mother Maria Masias of Odessa, TX; his wife Jennifer Ramos Rubio of Anson; his children, Julian "JJ" Rubio of Haskell, Priscilla Gonzalez of Haskell, Kolby Rubio of Haskell, Adrian Rubio of Haskell, Stacy Elkins of Anson, John Elkins, Jr. of Anson, Armando Rubio, Jr. (A. J.) of San Marcos, TX, Marcus Dewayne Rubio Rocha of Abilene, TX, Cataleya Rubio of Stamford, Texas and Yessinea Rubio of Stamford, Texas; his granddaughter Elliana Arriaga of Anson, TX; his brother Michael Masias of Abilene, TX; and his aunts and uncles, Ramona Costante of Corpus Christi, Chris Constante of Corpus Christi, Suzie Flores of Corpus Christi and Joe Costante of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
