It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Jean Hale in Anna, Texas, born in Mount Vernon, Texas, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Sarah Jean departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sarah Jean. Though Sarah Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ennis Stiles and Myrtle Syjansky. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Hale; her daughters, Beverly Hickerson (Todd) and Beth Pound (David); and her siblings, Faye Stephens, Charles Stiles and Nelda Jo Bean. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles W. Smith & Sons (601 S Tennessee St, McKinney, TX 75069). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
