It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis A. Popek of Anna, Texas, born in Chriesman, Texas, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tom W. Popek (Sophie) and Sophie Hlavaty Popek; his wife Anna Popek; his daughter Deanna Belser; his son-in-law Jeff; his grandchildren, Brad Belser (Tori) and Sarah McRae (Bryant); his great grandchildren, Dannah Salazar and Callahan Belser; and his siblings, Edward Popek (Marliyn), Tom Popek (Judy), Lillie Hejl and Frank Popek. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
