He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville "Jack" Madding and Hazel Lee Fuller; his wife Mary Ella Madding; and his siblings, Billy Jack Madding and Sandra Mae Horton.
He is survived by: his sisters, Joice Green of Garland, TX, Patricia Pierce of Austin, TX and Charlotte Chadwick of La Mesa, CA; his daughters, Penny Strickland of Anna, TX and Shelley Stone of Alamosa, CO; his grandchildren, Candyce Strickland, Jesse Baca of Colorado Springs, CO, Logan Strickland, Amber McDermett of McKinney, TX, Dustin Strickland, Kelsey Jones of Sherman, TX, Charlie, Caitlin Olson of Alamosa, CO, Nick Stone and Ella Stone of Alamosa, CO; and his great grandchild Augustus McDermett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
