She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Thornton and Dorothy Rose Simmons Thornton; her husband James "Jim" Noel Lane; and her sister Patricia "Pat" Middleton. She is also survived by her children, their spouses, and her 5 grandchildren who referred to her as "Nana." Suzie is leaving behind a legacy that will ask all who knew her to love each other deeply, to support family and friends.
