She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Buchanan, Jr.; her parents, Theron Broadus and Wilma Broadus (Smith); and her siblings, Theron Broadus, Jr. and Marriane Buice.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Fletcher; her son-in-law Tom Fletcher; her son Jimmy Buchanan; her daughter-in-law Karen Buchanan; and her grandchildren, Wesley Buchanan, Aubrey Buchanan, Brian Pilcik, Miranda Pilcik, Lisa Lanier, Kevin Lanier, Kelly Woodson, Chris Woodson, Jeff Fletcher, Keri Fletcher, Casey Fletcher, Cheryl Fletcher, Kyle Winegart, Amy Winegart, Kate Gilliland and Andy Gilliland.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palms Funeral Home (2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Brazoria Cemetery (200 Tennis St, Brazoria, TX 77422).
