He was predeceased by: his parents, Elfrieda Martha Volkert and Thruman Bennett. He is survived by: his siblings, Milton, Larry, Tommy and Elaine; his nieces and nephews, Ricky, Terry, Jimmy and Steven; his daughters-in-law, Rachel and Jennifer; and his grandchildren, Lily, Lydia, Trip and Rose.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Palms Funeral Home (2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515).
