It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Lou Cox of Angleton, Texas, born in Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. McKinney and Dora Ellen McKinney (Fowler); her sons, Timmy Lanham and Jason Hahne; and her siblings, Jimmy McKinney and Janice Gibbs.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Farmer (Dennis) of Marion, KY, Dale Lanham (Daphne) of Jones Creek, TX, Greg Lanham (Vicki) of Angleton, TX, Shelly O'Bryan (Billy) of Fredonia, KY and Linda Dutton of Marion, KY.; and her siblings, Ruby Driver of Carrsville, KY and Danny McKinney (Carolyn) of Madisonville, KY.. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandhchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Palms Funeral Home (2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Angleton Cemetery (328 Cemetery Rd, Angleton, TX 77515).
