He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Garcia, Sr. and Andrea Garza; his siblings, Frank Garcia, Ramon Garcia, Jose Garcia, Jr. and Aurelia Brush; his wife Estella Garcia; and his children, Paul Garcia, Jr. and Dora Ortiz.

He is survived by: his children, Tommy Garcia (Jessica, Nancy Guzman), Robert Garcia (Lisa) and Pauline Gradney (Terry); and his brother Jimmy Garcia of Houston. He is also survived by 26 Grandchildren, 61 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
