She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Mordente, Sr. and Jacqueline Creighton (Leche); and her brother Sam Mordente, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth W. Lipscomb; her children, Christian Carter of The Woodlands, Charles Carter (Yvonne) of Houston and Sarah Fuchs of Houston; her stepchildren, Nicholas and Amanda Lipscomb of Austin; her grandchildren, Brenan, Luke, Emily and Erin; her pet Weezy; her siblings, Neil Surgi (Gloria Ruffin) of Branson, Missouri, Darrell Surgi (Michelle Bruno) of Port Arthur, Paul Mordente (Naomi Hernandez) of Dickinson, David Mordente (Daisy) of Kirbyville, Stephen Mordente (Shari Taylor) of Friendswood and Christina Mordente of Markham; and also Crystal.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Palms Funeral Home (2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holy Comforter Episcopal Church (227 S Chenango St, Angleton, TX 77515).
