He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilberto Guel and Socorro Mendoza; and also Osiel Guel, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Guel; his children, Lorena Cabrera (Miguel), Mario Guel (Marisa) and Mayra Guel; his grandchildren, Oliva and Emily Guel; his children, Isabella, Gabriel and Abigail Cabrera; and his siblings, Esther Guel, Paula Herrera, Hugo Guel, Gilberto Guel, Rhode Almendarez, Hilda Onopa, Rebecca Garza, Ana Isabel Sandoval, Idolina Cornier, Maria Elena Benitez and Leticia Rodriguez.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hope Fellowship Church (200 Lake Rd, Lake Jackson, TX 77566). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
