She was predeceased by: her husbands, Miguel Angel Chávez, Chad Christopher Chávez, Simeon Guerra, Sebastian Guerra and Christopher Leon Buckner Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Margarito Chávez (Maria Mayela Chávez), Edmundo Chávez (Laura Chávez), Martha Patricia "Patty" Sanchez (Ylario "Leo" Sanchez), Sergio Chávez, Lorena Buckner (Christopher Leon Buckner Sr.), Anabell Alvarez (Geoff Alvarez) and Maribell Carpenter (Jonathan William Carpenter); her grandchildren, Marc Anthony Chávez (Jesica Moran-Trejo), Miguel Angel Chávez, Mariah Alexandria Chávez, Chad Christopher Chávez (Lindsay Chávez), Haley Nicole Chávez, Jedidah Cerón Jezeniah (Luis Cerón), Sebastián Guerra, Jeanetteh Newhouse Newhouse (David DaVaughn), Jasmineh Guerra, Samuel Guerra (Sydney Guerra), Simeon Guerra, Michael Alexander Parrales-Patrick, Christopher Leon Buckner Jr. (Marissa Ann Buckner), Crystal Marie Reyes (Juan Daniel Reyes), Michelle Kristine Buckner, Christian Michael Buckner, Christavian Michael Buckner, Ryan Alvarez and David William Carpenter; and her great grandchildren, Melanie Luna Chávez, Leia Rose Chávez, Chase Christopher Chávez, Veralynn Grace Cerón, Julián Sebastián Cantú Jr., Joceline Genesis Cantú, Isabelle Jisel Castañeda, Ricardo Hernández III, Reynaldo Elías Hernández, Gianna María Anahí Hernández, Everlee Rose Guerra, Valerie Jade Guerra, Sienna Celeste Guerra and Christopher Leon Buckner III.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (1521 Laffitte St, Freeport, TX 77541). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
