He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Hein; his brother Wilbur Hein; his sister-in-law Frances Hein; and his nephew Joshua Cotton. He is survived by: his wife Jan Hein of Rosenberg; his son Matthew Hein; his son-in-law Jeremy Watkins; his granddaughters, Audrey of Dallas and Annabel of Dallas; his siblings-in-law, Kevin Cotton (Kasi) of Pearland and Deana Turner (Chris) of Vidor; his nephews, Paul Hein (Sandra) of Rosenberg, Greg Hein (Joy) of Brenham and Jacob Cotton (Annissa) of Spring; his niece Jessica White (Jon) of Lufkin; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sean Hein (Candace), Kaylie Herrera (Scooter), Morgan Hein, Nick Hein (Brittany), Noelle (Art Hernandez) and Brady White; and also, Brooks Herrera, Carlee Hein, Cash Hein, Parker Hein, Carson Herrera, Christopher Hein, Lance Limos and Scarlett Hein.
