Leldon Wayne Berry Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leldon Wayne Berry in Angleton, Texas, born in Mount Vernon, Texas, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Berry and Dovie Gay Reed; his stepfather Lewis Reed; his siblings, Charlene Broussard, Martha Baker, Gaynell Phillips and Caney Reed; his in-laws, Haskell and Mildred Nix; his brother-in-law William Nix; and his son-in-law John Grothe.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Berry; his children, Scott Berry (Carrie) and Angela McKeown (Jay); his grandchildren, Garrett Grothe (Katie), Reece Grothe, Carson Berry, Justin Berry, Samuel Berry, William Berry, Will McKeown and Abby Wissen (Blake); his great grandchildren, Gianna and Lillian Grothe; his siblings, Cynthia Thomas (Jasper) and Charles Reed (Michelle); and his sister-in-law Mary Nix. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stroud Funeral Home (538 TX-288 Business, Clute, TX 77531).
