He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Coats and Elizabeth Moore Coats; and his aunt Dolly Moore of Oklahoma. He is survived by: his spouse Andrea Demopulos-Coats; his daughters, Karla Coats and Kayla Coats (James Wells); his grandchildren, Jayden Coats, Jackson Coats and Lukas Wells; his siblings, Leslie Murders (Michael Murders) and Greg Coats (Vicki); his uncles, Junior Coats and Joe Moore; and his close friend David Hennig. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, one great niece.
