With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Wayne Heckethorn (Angleton, Texas), who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Heckethorn and Mildred Knutson Heckethorn; and his wife Lois. He is survived by: his children, Shane Heckethorn (Jim Barnes) of Holyoke, Massachusetts, Pamela Parsons (Cameron) of Angleton, Texas, Shelly McArthur (Graham) and Leslie Branson; his sister-in-law Barbara Hiroms of Brazoria; and his grandchildren, Carter Heckethorn, Dax Parsons, Mathew Heckethorn-Barnes, Joel Barnes, Ethan Jaramillo and Shannon Brickley. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Palms Funeral Home (2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Brazoria Cemetery.
