She was predeceased by: her parents, Abran Duenes and Eufemia Duenes; her husband Esbardo Garza, Sr.; her siblings, Iraeno Duenes, Ramon Duenes, Guadalupe Coronado and Mary Villarreal; and her grandchildren, Chris Becerra, Victor Becerra, John Reyes and Alex Becerra.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Benitez, Linda Becerra, Edward Garza (Diane), Ted Garza (Bonnie) and Abraham Garza (Jennifer); and her sisters, Tonie Ramirez, Janie Sierra, Frances De La Garza, Fannie Infante and Mary Morales. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and her 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palms Funeral Home (2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
