She was predeceased by: her mother Maria Ester Elizondo-Gavina of Hereford Tx; her husband Joe Cabarrubia; her son Jessie Cabarrubia; and her siblings, Esmeralda Sanchez and Miguel Gavina.
She is survived by: her children, Mely Hernandez (David), Elvia Cabarrubia, Liz Damian (Danny), JoAnne Thomas (Jarvis) and James Cabarrubia; and her siblings, Esperanza Lara of Angleton, Elida Prouty of Angleton, Marin Gavina, Manuel Gavina (Yolanda) of Amarillo, Macario Gavina of Leveland, Martin Gavina (Rose) of Leveland, Mario Gavina of Frona and Mary Garcia (Joe) of Hereford. She is also survived by 25 Grandchildren, 61 Great-Grandchildren, 16 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palms Funeral Home (2300 E Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
