It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward F. Sawyer (Angleton, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Felix Sawyer, Sr. and Rose Ventoreno; his wife Phoebe Elizabeth Dugan; his son Barney; his daughter-in-law Charlotte; and his grandson Caleb.

He is survived by: his siblings, Rosalie, Pauline, Laura and Richard; his children, Tom of Kaufman, Willie (Laurie) of Angleton and Bird (Charlie) of Humble, Texas.; his grandchildren, Jeana, TJ (Shelly), Cara, Sara (Miguel), Matthew (Anthony), Kim, Carl and Carmen; and his caregivers, Taleena, Laura, Christina and Morgan.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you made donations to your favorite children's charity in memory of Tom Sawyer.
