He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bishop and Lois Moser; and his significant other Frankie Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Chris Garrett (Julie) of Odessa, TX and Dede Bowers (John) of Andrews, TX; and his grandchildren, JohnE Bowers, Erin Franklyn and Emily Wade. He is also survived by his three brothers and four sisters.
His hard work and commitment to his community were recognized when he received the Andrews Pioneer award in 2020, a testament to his enduring contribution to the people of Andrews.
