He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Self and Patsy R. Self; and his grandmothers, O. E. Self and C. V. Cobb. He is survived by: his daughters, Kerri Woodall (Travis), Kimberly Sizemore (Tom) and Mandy McCabe; and his siblings, Beverly Patterson (Robert) and Susan Dunn (Earl).

Any donations in Rusty's name can be made to the National Heart Association.
