He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Hestand and Edith Susie Johnson Hestand. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hestand of Andrews; his children, James Buchanan (Sylvia) of Brownfield, Stoney Buchanan (Dana) of Stanton, Joe Glen Hestand (Debbie) of Andrews, Thomas Hestand (Tonya) of Snyder, Charlotte Varnado (Greg) of Walker, LA and Cynthia Orson (Kenny) of Andrews; and his siblings, Douglas Hestand of Tioga, Jerry Hestand (Betty) of Andrews, Norma Bradford of Aubrey and Lola Simmel (Clifford) of Arlington. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.
