He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnulfo Hernandez and Regina Rubio Hernandez; his wife Gloria; and his sibling Socorro Hernandez. He is survived by: his children, Gloria Angelica Hernandez of Andrews, Velia Ivonne Roman (Lorenzo) of Odessa and Jacqueline Timmons (Tim) of Andrews; his brother Ignacio Hernandez (Maria) of Jesus; his grandchildren, Ruben Manriquez, Jr. (Thaila, Christopher Manriquez), Lorena Lujan (Raphael, Sr.), Liliana Roman, Jazmine Trujillo (Nick, Dante Timmons), Anthony Roman, Christina Pennman, Janalee Roman and Ethan Timmons; and his great grandchildren, Araceli Jaramillo, Raphael Lujan, Jr., Ruben Manriquez, III, Lexi Manriquez, Dn Lujan, Lionel Ramirez and Annabelle Manriquez. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, and provider to his family, and he is known as "Uva" to his grandchildren.
