He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smart and Mary Kate Smart; his wife Jo; and his son Nolan. He is survived by: his children, Paula Frazier (Ed), Jeanie Stephens and David Smart (Juanie); his grandchildren, Amy Crawford, Nolan Smart, Sunnie Smart, Matt Stephens (Katy) and Tammy Rude (Karl); and his sisters-in-law, Jane Teague and Sandra Smart. He is also survived by 9 great- grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
