He is survived by: his spouse Virginia Lee Barron; his children, Ruth Ann Mendoza of Amarillo, Ray Hernandez, Lisa Hernandez of Albuquerque, NM, Johnny Hernandez, Julie Hernandez of Lubbock, Cyndi McCrary, James McCrary of Odessa, Billie Gurney, Steve Gurney of La Pine, Brian Jefcoats, Shanon Jefcoats of Andrews and Cassie Jefcoats of Andrews; and his brothers, Thomas Hernandez, Janie Hernandez of Lubbock, Johnny Hernandez, Mary Hernandez of Lubbock, Joe Hernandez and Melinda Hernandez of Lubbock. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
