He was predeceased by: his son Victor Tarango; his siblings, Jose Tarango, Andres Tarango, Rafael Tarango, Ruben Tarango, Gilberto Tarango, Maria Chavez, Josefa Martinez, Guadalupe Tarango and Delfina Rodriguez; and his grandchildren, Dina Pena and Randy Franco.
He is survived by: his spouse Francisca Alvarez; and his children, Oscar Tarango, Maria Tarango of Andrews, Ed Avila of Andrews, Eliseo Tarango, Myrna Tarango of Andrews, Graciela Franco, Ramon Franco of Lovington, Eduvijes Ovalle, Joel Ovalle of Andrews, Yolanda Porras, Javier Porras of Lovington, Elizabeth Salcido and Francisco Salcido of Andrews. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren.
