He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonio Muniz and Enedina Muniz; his siblings, Manuel Muniz, Marcos Muniz and Amy Ocon; his grandson Jorge Antonio Casarez; his wife Alicia Muniz; his children, Ismael Muniz Jr., Monica Alaniz, Claudia Guzman, Abigail Muniz, Ervenia Soto and Nina Bustamante; his siblings, Elfida, Virginia, Juanita, Nicolas, Samuel, Antonio Jr., Benjamin, Octavio and Joel; and his grandsons, Zach Alaniz, Jesse Salinas, Alejandro Bustamante, Aaron Guzman, Sergio Ismael Franco, Benjamin Soto Jr., Kayden Garza and Joaquin Arellano.
