He is survived by: his wife Luz Chavez; his children, Gonzalo, Manuel Chavez, Guadalupe Valenzuela and Guillermina Chavez; and his grandchildren, Samuel Ramos, Daira Vasquez, Daniel Ramos, Josue Ramos, Gonzalo Trip Chavez, Sarah Whittle, Victoria Chavez, Ezekiel Chavez, Frank Bowman-Chavez, Jesus Chavez, Carol Aguirre, Maria Nunez, Jovam Villegas, Jorddy Villegas, Jay Villegas, Luz Elena Navarro and Sarhay Navarro. He is also survived by 41 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
