He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Puckett and Ruby Stephens Puckett; his son Mike Puckett; and his siblings, Leon Puckett and Ellen Puckett Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Puckett of Andrews; his daughter Cindy Puckett of Frisco; his sister-in-law Dixie Puckett of San Angelo; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Dunn, Britney Knickerbocker, Chase Puckett and Taryn Bell.
