It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Avon Neighbors in Andrews, Texas, born in Shamrock, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Boyd James; her parents, Clarence Fisher and Lovia May Fisher; and her sister Bonnie. She is survived by: her sisters, Gladys, Nora and Ollice; her children, David Wynn, Boydette Martin, Doc Wokasien of Austin, TX and Becky Beach (Buddy) of Lubbock, TX.; her grandchildren, Lexi White (Tyler) and Cadan; her great grandchildren, Mason, Jaelyn and Kaelyn; and also, Christopher, Justin, Kendall Ehrenberg (Derreck), Chad Martin (Abby), Kyle Martin, Katy Beach, Brea Smith (Nolan), Keaton Beach, Konnor, Brenlynn Ehrenberg, Addley, Jett, Emery, Eden, Axel Martin and Brooks Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McNett Funeral Home (705 N Main St, Andrews, TX 79714).
