He was predeceased by: his parents, Petrolino Bustamante, Sr. and Dominga Gallegos Bustamante; his spouse Refugia Morales; his siblings, Jesus, Sr., Juliana, Paulina, Dominga, Eraclia, Enedina, Petra and Cruz; and his grandsons, Antonio and Jorge Bustamante.
He is survived by: his children, Maribel Alvarez of Andrews, Rene (Maria Bustamante, Sr.), Cruz (Linda Bustamante), Enrique (Norma Bustamante) and Emilio (Diana Bustamante, Jr.). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
