She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl McGlaughlin and Younie Milam Bruington; her spouse Odis Spain; her son Marion Earl "Butch" Spain; and her brother J. W. "Dub" Bruington.
She is survived by: her daughter Trena Dittberner (Tommy) of Andrews, TX; her daughter-in-law Sheila Spain of Lubbock; her siblings, Jenny Kersh of Plainview and Bill Bruington of Petersburg; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Bruington of Plainview and Ray Brown (Faye) of Keller, TX; her grandchildren, Mark Spain of Lubbock, Rebecca Dittberner of Andrews and Denise Dittberner of Marble Falls; her great grandchildren, Seth, Hollie Spain, Shelby, Stephen Westmoreland and Trevor Chase Spain; her great great grandchildren, Theodore Spain and Emmylou Spain; and her close friends, Bob and Bonnie Price. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
