With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Golden (Andrews, Texas), born in Iredell, Texas, who passed away on February 19, 2022 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Willard Weeks and Mary Frances Weeks. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Weldon "Cotton" Golden; her daughters, Jane Lassiter (Coker) and Phillis Nelson (Ted); her grandchildren, Max Nelson (Tanna), Lea Ann Wilson Joni (Darrell), Ross Lassiter (Misty) and Thad Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Kinsey Loya (Braden), Kristyn Wilson (Keiondre), Kylar Wilson, Madison Ellis, Mallorie Ellis (Taheric), Ingrid Haack (Sheldon), Luke Nelson, Logan Lassiter and Landon Lassiter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Doris Fay Golden to the Andrews Senior Center or the Permian Residential Care Center Activity Fund.
