David Keith Lawson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Keith Lawson (Andrews, Texas). David K. Lawson was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Francia and Edith Lawson. He passed away on December 4, 2021, in Andrews, TX at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. During his younger years, he served his country honorably in the 1st Ba 15th Inf 7th US Army. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Expert Rifle Award. After his service, he moved to Andrews, TX to be near his twin sister and worked at the Kirby Plant until retirement. He was a very loving and generous man. Throughout his life, he loved and cared for many people especially his family and friends. He kept in close contact with friends and family until his death. He loved attending Lawson Family Reunions being the photographer for all family in attendance. He collected all the photos and carefully placed each one in yearly albums. He also enjoyed collecting ancestry photos and history of both the Lawson and Pollard family. He will be sorely missed, but those that truly knew him have the assurance that he is enjoying his eternal home with Jesus and those that passed before him.
Preceded in death are his parents Francis Lawson and Edith Pollard, his twin sister Sharon Lawson Tidwell, brothers Doug Lawson, Johnny Lawson, James K. Lawson Sr.
Survivors include his very dear Aunt Vera Belle Lawson and Betty Ingram, his cousins Belinda Jobe, Jan Garry, Bobby Fox, and Lee Mitchel. Nephews and Nieces George Lawson, Kenny Lawson Jr., Becky May, Gary Lawson, Mike Lawson, Billy Lawson, Jonathan Lawson, Kathy Lawson Macha, Chris Lawson, Alan Lawson, Brent Lawson, and Larry Lawson.
