It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tina Marie Kott of Anderson, Texas, born in Fredericksburg, Texas, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kott and Bobbie Kott (Cobb); and her sister Donna Kott Hejny. She is survived by: her siblings, Brenda Kott, Sandy Kott and Jay Kott (Teresa); her nieces and nephews, Lee O'Connell, Chris Proske, Maegen Roach, Trisha Lookadoo (John) and Jayme Ziebell (Nathan); and her sister-in-law Dana Dobbs (Brian Backhus).

“I did not read the Navasota Examiner last week very thoroughly at all. I read last week's paper today, 3-27-2024. I was shocked to read that Tina Kott had died a few weeks ago on March 2, 2024. Had no idea she had cancer. I never went to Anderson for car title or license plate stuff without stopping at Kott's Cafe to have a piece of chocolate meringue pie; & maybe her delicious home made onion rings.. I am heartbroken to read that Tina has died.. Blessings to the Kott family, Cindy Baker”
