He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy R. Burge and Audra Merle McGee; and his brothers, Robert, Johnny and Jack.
He is survived by: his wife Inez; his daughter Tina Marie Burge of Montgomery; and his sister Eva Mitchell of Searcy, Arkansas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Richards Methodist Church (6639 FM 1486, Richards, TX 77873).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jim's memory to one of the following organizations: The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, American Cancer Society, Library Friends of Conroe, or South Montgomery Friends of the Library.
