He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cleere, and Neeley Cleere, Jr. (Ferrell); and his siblings-in-law, Henry and Veta Backhus. He is survived by: his daughter Cathy; his close friends, Michael and Diane Speed; his wife Cathy Cleere; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Kristi Cleere; his son Travis; his daughter-in-law Ashley Cleere; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Lance Lavergne; his grandsons, James Kendel Cleere, Kanin Cleere, Austin Lavergne, Landon Lavergne, Mason Cleere and Grayson Cleere; and his brothers-in-law, Laverne Backhus (Geralyn) and Burk Backhus (Trish).
