He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Herrington and Doris Herrington; his wife Tex Ann; and his brother Rush Herrington. He is survived by: his children, Allen Herrington (Louise) of Anahuac, Melissa Thomas (Vance) of Anahuac and Joel Herrington (Katie) of Kilgore, Texas; his sisters, Harriet Herrington of Norman and Gayle Morton of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Brian Herrington (Callie), Brad Herrington (Chelsea), Jordan Sanders (Cody), Rush Herrington and Payton Herrington; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Gracelyn, Ty, Addi, Mason, Cale and Tess.
