It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Lee Rice of Anahuac, Texas, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos (Thelma Johnson Rice) and Anahuac; his son Stuart Lee Rice; and his sisters, Rusty, Evelyn and Bitsy.
He is survived by: his wife Marlyn Herman Rice; his son Stephen Reid Rice; his daughters-in-law, Melissa Rice and Andrea Rice; his brother Wayne Rice (Elma); and his grandchildren, Taylor Rice, Nicholas Rice and Madison (Luke Snell). He is also survived by one great-grandchild on the way, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (204 Trinity St, Anahuac, TX 77514). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Methodist (204 Trinity St, Anahuac, TX 77514).
