It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Milton Bowen Shaw (Anahuac, Texas), born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton "Mickey" Shaw and Audrey Stephenson Shaw; and his sister Eugenia "Jeanie" Shaw Fereday. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Karr; his children, Justin Bowen Shaw of Cedar Park, Texas and Lauren Ann Mercer (Zac) of Friendswood, Texas; his former wife Sheryl Shaw of Anahuac; his grandchildren, Scarlett and Eli Mercer; his daughter Melanie Shaw of Austin; and his grandchildren, Samantha Fort, Travis Fereday and Trent Fereday. He is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Bowen said you should take your family out to eat, or 'go play golf.' Bowen's quick wit, love of life, and mischievous smile will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
