He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Muniz and Juliana Grimaldo Muniz; his sons, Alberto and Rodolfo Grimaldo; and his grandsons, Alberto Cabrera and Juanito G. Grimaldo.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Aurora Grimaldo; and his children, Juana Chavez (Anastacio) of Anahuac, Francisco Grimaldo, Jr. (Felipa) of Anahuac, Eva Cabrera (Santos) of Smith Point, Rosario Moreno (Ramiro) of Anahuac, Ortencia Grimaldo (Defino) of Madisonville, Eugenia Mejia (Luis) of Anahuac, Juan Grimaldo (Alicia) of Anahuac, Maria De Jesus Yebra (Herculano) of Anahuac and Lupe Guzman (Manuel) of Anahuac. He is also survived by his fifty-two grandchildren; his one hundred forty-eight great-grandchildren, and his twenty-nine great-great-grandchildren.
