He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Austin Pennington and Margaret Elizabeth Oates; and his siblings, Butch Pennington and Peggy Pennington Foster. He is survived by: his wife Mary Pennington; his daughters, Sheila Pennington Moor (Halley Moor Sr.) and Trella Pennington; and his siblings, Robert Pennington (Sandy) and Betty Pennington Coker. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
