He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Carroll and Susie Loftin Carroll; his wife Florence Mildred Carroll; his daughter Cynthia Carroll Long; and his granddaughter Ivy Meroney.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Kelley (Mike), Dora Meroney (Andy) and Allen Carroll; his grandchildren, Nikki Thurman, Denise Noggler, Brian Kelley, Megan Hardy, Tabitha Long, Amber Pederson and Emily Hardy-Carroll; his great grandchildren, Emma, Cooper, Dean, Tinzly, Kendall, Elijah and Isla; his grandson Willis; and his cousins, Louise Carroll George and Ross Guess.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to BSA Hospice Care of the Southwest or to any organization supporting veterans.**.
