With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waymond Dee Aplin of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Camarine Aplin and June Aplin; his in-laws, Allene and Lonnie Claypool; and his brothers, Raymond Lee Aplin and William Aplin (Gayland Gilbert Aplin).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Aplin; his children, Stephen Shaun Aplin and Melanie "Diane" Edmondson (James); his grandchildren, Cheyenne Edmondson, James "Logan" Edmondson and Mercedes Aplin; his sisters-in-law, Connie Gilvin and Belinda Hamilton (Johnnie); and his nieces and nephews, Casey Bennett, Craig Hamilton (Angie), Christie Hamilton, Jeffrey Hamilton (Brittany) and Megan Jeter (Chad).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
