He was predeceased by: his parents, L. T. Brinson and Tennie Frances Brinson; and his brothers, Theo Brinson and James Brinson. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Brinson; his sisters, Doris Fletcher and Dixie Jones; his children, Shellie Garcia (Michael) and Rodney Brinson (Karen); his grandchildren, Paul Turman (Heather), Gabriel Gunnels, Jonathan Brinson (Caitlin), Kathryn and Hadley Turman; and his great grandchildren, Aspen, Draigen and Zayne.
