He was predeceased by: his son Clayton Burtram; his parents, Aaron Burtram and Mabel Burtram; and his brother Jerry Burtram. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Burtram; his children, Lisa Pruit, Daniel (Heather Burtram), Cassi (Chad Webb), Kayla (Doug Schwartz) and Darren Burtram; and his grandchildren, Joey, KrissLynn, Bailey, Nolan, Dani, Weston, Nevaeh, Wyatt, Hermione, Brayleigh, Zayden, Jennifer and Douglas Jr. (DJ). He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Triumphant Truth (1701 S Manhattan St, Amarillo, TX 79103).
