Verva Ann Lacy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2023, at the age of 87, Verva Ann Lacy of Amarillo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Reverend P. K. Flaming and Elsie Flaming; her husband Wayne Lacy; her brother Peter James Flaming; her son Patrick Lacy; her son-in-law Tom Shumate; her granddaughter Cassandra Shumate; her children, Amy Kemper of Canyon, Texas, Kristen Schmidt (Kent) of Springfield, Colorado and Tino Rice (Michael) of Abilene, Texas.; her grandchildren, James, Daniel, Andrew, Verva Jean, Michaela, Miranda and David; and her great grandchildren, Rylan, Slade, Tatum, William and Caroline. She was also cherished by many nephews and nieces.
