He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradley Burrus and Louise Burrus; and his siblings, Austell Burrus and Juanelle Burrus Andrews. He is survived by: his wife Nelda Burrus of Amarillo, TX; his daughter Kari Freeman (Mark) of Lone Tree, CO.; his grandchildren, Benton Freeman (Annie) of Portland, OR. and Blythe French (Luke) of Parker, CO.; his great grandchildren, Witten, Koen, Eila, Peyton and Dane "Troy"; his son Rodney Ruthart (Gina); and his grandchildren, Kati and Brayden.
