He was predeceased by: his parents, Seberiano Diaz and Tomasa Diaz; and his brothers, Luis Diaz, Jesse Diaz, Johnny Diaz and Robert Diaz.
He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Diaz of Amarillo, TX; his children, Cindy Bustos (Richard) of Amarillo, TX and Michael Diaz (Julie) of Amarillo, TX; his stepchildren, Abbie Rodriguez (Ian Mendez) of El Paso, TX and Nathaniel Rodriguez (Nancy) of El Paso, TX; his sisters, Esperanza Cardenas of McAllen, TX, Carmen Ramirez (Charlie) of Dalhart, TX, Benita Trevino of Mesquite, TX, Lupe Garcia (Galdino) of Bovina, TX, Rosa Quiroga of Bovina, TX and Francis Trevino of Dumas, TX; his nephew Adrian Diaz; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha, Ashley, Christopher, Cameron, Colby, Jonah, Jaylan, Val, James, Amerie, June and Axel. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Hyacinth Catholic Church (4500 W Hills Trail, Amarillo, TX 79106). A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
