He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Collins and Ada Mae Collins; his siblings-in-law, Sharon and David; his in-laws, Bill and Sarah Hicks; and his nephew James McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Collins; his daughter Shana Collins; his sister Brenda Gray (Glenn); his sister-in-law Debbie Gillispie; his nieces and nephews, Ryan Gray (Donnell), Scott Gillispie (Kat), Kevin Gillispie (Holly), Brittnye Chandler (Anson), Ashleigh Rozzell (Stevie) and Tia Haseloff (Ray); his uncle BJ Collins; and his aunts, Helen Collins and Ava Lee Collins. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westlawn Memorial Park (8745 TX-136, Fritch, TX 79036). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Crossroads Country Church (Amarillo) (14425 Farm to Market Rd 1541, Amarillo, TX 79118).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Crossroads Country Church, Fill with Hope, or to Gideons International.
